Geo5 GmbH stands for innovative solutions to geoscientific issues by providing

This includes various areas of applied geosciences with a focus on geophysics. In this context, classical methods and innovative procedures are used or further developed. Innovative methods are defined as project solutions that apply classical methods in an innovative combination on the one hand and integrate newly developed measurement and evaluation algorithms on the other. Solutions are developed to answer questions relating to engineering geophysics, geothermal energy, exploration of a wide range of raw materials and site investigation for repositories. In addition, general tasks in geosciences, such as hydrogeology topics, are also addressed.

Research and development in the field of applied geosciences is an essential core process at Geo5 GmbH. Customer-related contract research, projects financed by public research programs and self-financed research are constantly advancing the knowledge of our customers and our employees. The results of previous research projects are innovative software solutions for seismic interpretation issues. These software solutions help us in the field of geoconsulting and are also offered for sale.

We are a team of geoscientists, petroleum engineers and software developers that emerged from the research group for geophysics and geothermal energy at JOANNEUM RESEARCH in 2015. We can therefore draw on more than 25 years of experience. The composition of the team has expanded significantly since its foundation and is thus continuously adapting to the increasing demands of industry and research.

All employees strive to ensure consistently high quality in the interests of our customers. In order to support our employees in this, they are kept appropriately informed and equipped with the necessary knowledge through internal and external training and further education. The manageable size of the company favors both short communication channels and agile management as well as an open and regular exchange of information, which is conducive to the successful implementation of processes.

As an engineering office for earth sciences, the stable quality of the services we offer is the basis of our long-term successful business activities. For us, quality means meeting both the expressed and unspoken expectations of our customers through our efficient and conscientious working methods.

In order to meet the growing demands of business and research, a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 was introduced in 2022. This enables quality-relevant processes to be mapped transparently and the highest possible level of customer satisfaction to be achieved. It goes without saying that we act in accordance with the professional rules for consulting engineers, such as the duty of confidentiality, incorruptibility and the duty to warn.
