10 years Geo5
Anniversary

After 10 years of successful project work in the field of geophysics, deep geothermal energy and the search for a repository for research and industry, current and former employees, shareholders and founding partners came together for a small celebration. The Geo5 team can look back on very interesting times with many different projects and clients. We are happy to be your contact for further exciting projects and look forward to a positive future with a large network.

Geoenergy in the Styrian Basin
Geological Society, London, Special Publication, 555

The Styrian Basin (SB) is the westernmost basin within the Pannonian Basin Complex and is located in SE Austria, where the crustal thickness decreases from more than 40 km to less than 30 km. It can be divided into the West and East Styrian Basin. The pre-Neogene basement includes Penninic and crystalline rocks overlain by Paleozoic rocks.

The Styrian Basin: an overview with new insights from seismic data
Geological Society, London, Special Publication, 554

This overview of the current understanding of basin evolution is based on the re-interpretation of partly unpublished reflection seismic data and a wealth of sedimentological and stratigraphic studies performed during the last 25 years.
